Hello!  I'm Wendy J. Moritz, principal at Harriet Bishop Elementary School!  As an educator for 25 years, I have served as a Spanish Teacher, Athletic Coach, and Administrator.  

Children are the most incredible natural resource we have, and I am so fortunate to be here to support students as their principal!  Relationships and partnerships with students and families make school communities rich and successful so that all students achieve at high levels! I love being a part of things that grow! 

I am equally passionate about professional development and facilitation of learning with teachers, building capacity in all staff who support our students!  I love being a part of things that grow! 

When I am not at school, I enjoy cheering on children in sports, fishing, flowers, and landscaping.  I love being a part of things that grow! 

We're glad you are here at Harriet Bishop Elementary School!  It is my privilege to support talented staff, amazing families, and incredible students!  I look forward to serving the Harriet Bishop Community this year!

Welcome to Harriet Bishop Elementary School! I am honored to be the assistant principal at Bishop. I have worked in administration in the Rochester School District for 22 years and have been at Bishop for the last three years. Besides administration, I have taught at the elementary and secondary levels for ten years.   

I have always believed that the school community - school staff and parents - work together to support our children in their learning. This community is like a family, and that is what I love about Bishop Elementary School.
