Welcome to Harriet Bishop Elementary School, home of the Bulldogs! I'm Principal Moritz, and I have been an educator for over 25 years. Throughout my career as a teacher, coach, and administrator, I have always believed that children are the most incredible resource we have. I am passionate about growth—not just for our students, but also for our talented staff. My goal is to support a school community where all are welcome, and everyone has the opportunity to achieve at high levels.
At Bishop, we strive daily to meet and celebrate our student’s unique needs through intentional relationship-building and individualized instruction. Relationships are at the heart of our school community.
We believe in a well-rounded educational experience for our students, meaning that they will have plenty of opportunities to learn and grow both academically and socially/emotionally. Students engage in learning through hands-on experiences and opportunities to share their learning with others. We celebrate the great things that our students do each and every day.
